The video, filled with emotion, captures Vaughan's joy as he enjoys a meal without the usual struggle of vomiting. Bennett explained in the caption that Vaughan had been struggling to eat without vomiting for most of his adult life.

A Schatzki ring is a thin, circular membrane of tissue that forms in the lower esophagus, narrowing the esophageal lumen where the esophagus meets the stomach.
