Admission of Guilty

In a courtroom session held on Tuesday afternoon, Hunter Weiss, a 24-year-old man, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree sexual assault. The hearing took place in the Fourth Judicial District Court, presided over by Judge Darci Phillips.

The sexual assault, which occurred on December 25, 2022, involved a female resident of Volunteers of America Northern Rockies (VOA), who was being transported to the Emergency Room at the time. The specific details of the incident have not been disclosed publicly.

After the plea, Judge Phillips revoked the bond for Weiss and ordered a presentence investigation report. The plea agreement stipulates that Weiss will serve a prison sentence of 2 to 6 years. Notably, the first-degree sexual assault charge was dismissed as a result of the guilty plea.

Weiss was remanded to the custody of the Sheridan County Detention Center pending sentencing, which is scheduled for October 30 at 11 am. Ron Richter, a local reporter, provided details about the plea hearing.

It is important to note that this case is isolated and unrelated to any allegations involving the Hells Angels gang, active warrants unrelated to this name, Senate Judiciary Committee actions, and public health studies that were found in search results. As such, no verifiable information is available regarding any specifics of Weiss's plea agreement or sentencing in the Fourth Judicial District Court beyond what has been reported here.

The individual charged with the sexual assault was present in the Fourth Judicial District Court for the plea hearing. The nature of the hearing was a change of plea hearing, and Weiss entered his plea in the afternoon. The location of the hearing remained the Fourth Judicial District Court throughout the proceedings.
