In the heart of Bad Neualbenreuth, the Sibyllenbad is preparing for a change as it updates its pricing structure starting January 2026. The enhancements aim to reflect improved maintenance and water quality in the Healing Water Bath Area, expanded sauna sessions, and added wellness features in the Sauna Area, and a new pricing tier for the Oriental Bath (Hamam), likely due to premium services and extended opening hours.

The exact prices for these changes have not been disclosed publicly yet, but interested parties are encouraged to check Sibyllenbad's official announcements or contact their customer service directly for more detailed information.

In other news, a two-hour stay at the Hamam will now cost 12 euros, while the day ticket for the bath and sauna area will increase from 25 euros to 29 euros. Loyal guests can still save up to 15% on entrance fees by using the money value transponder to load their credit.

On a brighter note, TÜV Süd has confirmed that Sibyllenbad's quality management system meets the current requirements according to the DIN standard, making it the first healing bath in Bavaria to undergo this test back in 2008.

Meanwhile, two consecutive construction sites on Vilstalstraße, between Amberg and Haselmühl, have been causing difficulties for cyclists and pedestrians. To alleviate the situation, a new traffic light has been added to slow down car traffic.
