Classroom at FW Hannover: Mysterious liquid triggers respiratory issues for 14 individuals, with a minor student sustaining injuries.
The Fire Department Hannover was called out this morning at 9:30 to an incident at Kirchroder Straße in the Kleefeld district. An unidentified liquid was found in a classroom of a vocational school, causing respiratory irritation among students and teachers.
Upon arrival, approximately 30 personnel from the fire department, along with additional rescue services, a leading emergency physician, and a large rescue vehicle, were dispatched as a precaution. The regional control center also dispatched an ambulance to the scene.
During the operation, several vehicles from the fire department were present, and the fire department remained at Kirchroder Straße until approximately 11:30. In total, 14 people were examined, including 11 students and 3 teachers. One person was classified as slightly injured, but hospitalization was not necessary.
