Alex Cooper's Shocking Allegations Against Boston University Soccer Coach

Following Alex Cooper's expose on her former college soccer coach, Boston University has finally responded to the allegations. Cooper, the popular "Call Her Daddy" podcast host, claimed in a two-part Hulu documentary that premiered on Tuesday, that her coach, Nancy Feldman, made inappropriate comments about her body and sex life, engaged in controlling behavior, and even touched her thigh.

Cooper shared her emotions in a heart-wrenching Instagram post, stating, "Nancy Feldman was someone I trusted. But instead she made my life a living hell and abused her power over me." She asserted that she reported the abuse to athletic director Drew Marrochello, who she claimed ignored her complaints.

Boston University addressed the allegations in a statement to the media. "BU has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We have a robust system of resources, support and staff dedicated to student wellbeing and a thorough reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office," the statement read. The university remains committed to fostering a safe campus environment for all.

Cooper's latest claims against Feldman resurfaced a past incident in which Cooper and her teammates contracted mononucleosis, also known as the "kissing disease." Cooper alleges that Feldman inappropriately questioned her about her romantic partners. When Cooper pleaded for assistant coach Casey Brown's help, Brown, according to Cooper, did nothing.

Brown issued a statement to the Boston Globe, claiming, "I would never ignore, dismiss, or turn away from anyone - a player, a teammate, a friend, a family member - who sought my help in any capacity."

While Cooper's documentary predominantly focuses on her tour, a visit to Boston University brought back painful memories, she said in Tuesday's episode of "Call Her Daddy." Cooper decided to come forward when she discovered other women had similar experiences with Feldman. "If a woman in my position, who has power and a platform, is still fearful, is still scared of speaking out about my own lived experience of sexual harassment, how the hell will any other woman feel safe and confident to come forward?" Cooper questioned in the episode.

From Call Her Daddy to SiriusXM: Alex Cooper's Multimillion-Dollar Deal

Cooper's interview with Kamala Harris and her personal struggles with sexual harassment have gained her recognition as a top podcaster. Following her success, Cooper created her own podcast network, Unwell, and signed a $125 million deal with SiriusXM in August 2024.

Cooper's documentary also provides a glimpse into her journey towards becoming a prominent figure in the podcast industry. The documentary features Cooper's former co-host, Sofia Franklyn, her husband Matt Kaplan, lifelong friend, and executive producer, Lauren McMullen, and Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, who owned the previous rights to "Call Her Daddy."

While Feldman has retired from coaching, Cooper claims the harassment continues under her successor. The situation has sparked public conversations and scrutiny, shedding light on the issue of sexual harassment in educational institutions.
