In recent times, there have been no documented instances of food products such as fish, butter, mineral water, or red caviar failing to meet safety and quality standards in the Russian region of Zabaykalsky Krai. A review of available sources reveals that the focus has been on topics unrelated to food safety or quality issues in the region, including aviation incidents, labour migration policies, company production expansions, and sanctions.

However, it is worth noting that in the past, there have been reported cases of non-compliant fish products and other food items. For instance, fish products produced by LLC "Equator" in the Vladimir region did not meet Russian quality and safety standards, as discovered by the Rosselkhoznadzor for Zabaykalsky Krai during a monitoring check. Consequently, the production certificates for these products were annulled by the supervisory authority.

The non-compliant fish products were supplied to 61 entities operating in Zabaykalsky Krai, as revealed by an analysis conducted based on information received from the Rosselkhoznadzor offices in Vladimir, Kostroma, and Ivanovo regions. The entities in question received a total of 399 electronic veterinary certificates for the non-compliant fish products.

In addition, fake red caviar and counterfeit butter have previously been found on the shelves of regional stores in Zabaykalsky Krai, while dangerous mineral water has also been sought in these stores.

The Rosselkhoznadzor for Zabaykalsky Krai sent notifications to the recipients about fish products with identified discrepancies, urging them to take measures to remove the products from circulation.

Despite these past incidents, the current situation in Zabaykalsky Krai appears to be under control, with no recent cases of food product safety and quality violations being reported. If new information arises, it will be shared promptly to ensure the continued safety and quality of food products in the region.

Science and health-and-wellness researchers in the Russian region of Zabaykalsky Krai have previously uncovered issues regarding food safety and quality, such as non-compliant fish products and other food items. Lifestyle choices, including food-and-drink consumption, are a vital component of health-and-wellness, making these past findings significant.
