High Number of Alcohol-Related Traffic Accidents on Father's Day 2024

On the occasion of Ascension Day, also recognized as Father's Day, there was a higher incidence of alcohol-related road accidents in 2024 than any other day of the year. Preliminary findings from the Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden reveal that alcohol factor played a part in 287 traffic accidents on that day.
