Embracing Vitality in Daily Medical Care: Aiming for a More Vibrant Patient Experience

In a new initiative, two donation projects are being launched, focusing on enhancing the daily lives of patients and staff in clinical settings. These projects aim to humanize and dignify daily clinical life, providing a more restorative environment for all.

One of the key components of these projects is the introduction of a new therapy table designed specifically for geriatric patients. This table, which is tax-deductible for donors, is wheelchair-accessible and height-adjustable, offering a stable surface for meals, hygiene, therapy activities, and the use of devices. Its versatile design promotes independence and safety while supporting nursing activities such as wound care or medication management. The therapy table is intended to allow elderly patients to work creatively and experience community, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life.

Another exciting addition is the installation of a piano in the open patient lounge. This idea originated from the hospital wards and is part of the same donation projects. The piano serves as a form of music therapy, providing cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being, and social interaction among older adults. It is meant to add warmth to the clinical environment, making it more inviting and engaging. The piano is intended for music events, celebrations, and daily moments, encouraging socialization and shared musical activities or informal performances.

Integrating therapy tables and pianos in open lounges offers multiple benefits. These elements can transform public clinical spaces into restorative environments that encourage patient interaction, reduce isolation, and support both physical and psychological rehabilitation. Open lounges with access to therapy tables and musical instruments help make recovery and long-term care more engaging and patient-centered, aligning with multidisciplinary care approaches that emphasize wellness, comfort, and active participation.

Sponsorships from companies or institutions are welcomed for these projects, as the new direction in fundraising activities prioritizes the concrete benefit for patients and employees. By supporting these initiatives, donors can contribute to a more welcoming, engaging, and supportive clinical environment for all.
