Battle at the Baby Bump: Trial for Pregnant Stabber Persists

Expectant woman viciously assaults another expectant woman - Trial persists - Expectant mother brutally assaults fellow expectant mother - Aggression persists

Spilling the tea on a shocking tussle between pregnant combatants, a witness dropped a bombshell in court. A 23-year-old expectant mother stands accused of brutally attacking another young, expectant mother outside a home in Hamburg's bustling Horn district on July 5, 2023. A neighbor bore witness to the explosive encounter, testifying at the trial's continuation in the St. Georg District Court: "She was bonkers, ranting repeatedly, 'I'm gonna kill you!'"

However, remembering the details from this bizarre brawl two years back has proven challenging. Under questioning, the witness admitted her memory of the dirt-filled incident wasn't crystal clear. The charges lodged against the defendant range from aggravated assault to issuing threats.

In a letter read out in court by her attorney at the trial's onset, the defendant admitted to the assault and expressed remorse for her actions. She claimed she was gobsmacked when her former BFF phoned, telling her: "Just scoot your butt over here!" Soon after, she hopped on an e-scooter.

At her third month along, the defendant was heavy with child. "I reckon my pregnancy hormones got the best of me," she said in court. The înf Io love square stemmed from her salty remarks about the victim's family, particularly her mama.

Armed with a folding knife in her jacket, a defensive habit she'd picked up in her rough neighborhood, the defendant had stood outside the house with two equals. A heated scuffle broke out, sending the knife flying to the ground. She scooped it up, lashing out at the other woman's legs in self-defense. The defendant denied intentionally targeting the baby bump or harboring thoughts of taking the victim's life: "I didn't deliberately stab her, mate, no way did I want to off her." Both mothers have welcomed their bundles of joy into the world.

As a key witness didn't show up for the trial, another court date has been penciled in for June 27, where closing arguments and a verdict could be dished out.
