Families Have Settled the Final Installment of Maternity Capital Payments
In a recent development, 38 additional families in the city of Biysk, located in the Altai region, have received a new form of financial support. Each family received a significant sum of 100,000 rubles, marking a departure from the previous one-time payments of up to 10,000 rubles.
This new support measure, introduced in September of last year, allows families to receive small remaining maternity capital funds in a single sum. It's important to note that this new support is not part of the program that has already distributed funds to 4,614 families in the Altai region.
The Social Fund of Russia's branch in the Altai region has been actively providing this support. Since the beginning of the year, they have made payments to 545 families in the region.
The eligibility criteria for this new support are straightforward. It is available to certificate holders with balances of no more than 10,000 rubles, regardless of the child's age or the family's income level.
Applications for maternity capital funds can be submitted remotely, in person, or through multi-service centers. The processing time for applications has been reduced to 5 working days since June 7.
However, the Social Fund of Russia warns against the unauthorized use of maternity capital funds, including cashing them out. It's crucial for families to handle these funds responsibly and legally.
This new support measure is a significant step forward in providing additional financial aid to families in the Altai region, and it's encouraging to see the positive impact it's having on local communities.
