Grilled Lamb Skewers Seasoned with Spices
A Chatty Guide to Grillin' Those Lamb Fat Tissue Skewers 🥩🌰
Hey there, foodie pal! Let's talk about these scrumptious lamb fat tissue wrapped skewers, shall we? The original plan calls for a fat tissue wrap around individual sticks, holding the mixture together while grilling. But we thought, why stop there? Let's add a bit of personality to these bad boys! 👨🍳
- Difficulty: As easy as pie (actually, easier than pie!)
Ingredients (9)
- 500 gr lean minced goat/beef (I prefer 300 gr) 🐐🐄
- Bamboo skewers - just soak 'em in water beforehand 🌯
- 500 gr goat/lamb fat tissue (I'm using 1 cup of bread crumbs + a couple of cracked eggs) 🐐❄️
- 2 tbs coriander seeds, toasted till fragrant 🌯🥜
- 6 cloves garlic - I looooove garlic, don't you?
- Aside from the traditional fat tissue wrap on the skewers, let's experiment with adding crumbled bread for an alternate texture, similar to the goat fat tissue we'd usually use.
- To infuse nutrition into our recipe, we could stir in a bit of finely chopped spinach or bell peppers into the minced goat meat, making these lamb skewers a tad healthier.
- After grilling the goat meat skewers, serve each with a side of refreshing cucumber yogurt sauce for a delicious contrast of flavors, making the dish more than just a simple grill feast.
