Hannover Fire Department Warns: High Heat Poses Deadly Risk to Children and Dogs in Cars
High temperatures, expected to reach 35°C today, bring serious risks. The Hannover Fire Department warns about the danger of leaving children or dogs in parked vehicles.
Temperatures inside cars can soar rapidly, even at outside temperatures above 20°C. In just 15 minutes, the interior can reach a deadly 46°C. Both children and dogs are at risk of heatstroke or permanent damage to organs and the nervous system.
Michael Kromminga, speaker of the Hannover Fire Department, urges everyone to avoid leaving pets or kids in parked vehicles. In case of emergency, dial 112 for immediate assistance.
With high temperatures persisting, remember the risks of leaving children or dogs in parked cars. Stay vigilant and call 112 in case of an emergency.
