RWL's 10-Minute AMRAP Workout Boosts Fitness for Summer

Get ready to sweat and improve your fitness with RWL's latest 10-minute AMRAP workout, exclusive to the Fit&Well Newsletter. Led by RWL's trainer, Nancy Eagle, this quick and fun exercise routine is part of the 30-day Summer Challenge that runs throughout August.

AMRAP, or As Many Rounds as Possible, is a popular workout format that challenges both muscular endurance and cardiovascular fitness. In this workout, the goal is to complete 12 repetitions of each exercise back-to-back for as many rounds as possible within a 10-minute time frame.

The workout includes the following moves:

  1. Lateral skier
  2. Alternating bear crawl
  3. Overhead back lunge
  4. High plank knee drive variation (both sides)
  5. Sumo squat jump to narrow squat
  6. Bicycle crunch

By working against the time in AMRAP, individuals are challenged to maintain good form while pushing their limits. This encourages progressive overload, helping to improve work capacity and mental toughness.

AMRAP workouts are highly effective due to their combined focus on muscular endurance and cardiovascular fitness. They help boost heart rate, improve cardiovascular fitness, and work multiple muscle groups. What's more, AMRAP is easily scalable, making it suitable for beginners and advanced individuals alike.

So, whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just starting out, give RWL's 10-minute AMRAP workout a try. Track your progress over time by getting more reps on the same workout, and watch as your work capacity and mental toughness improve. Sign up for the Fit&Well Newsletter today to get access to this workout and many more as part of the 30-day Summer Challenge.
