Estonian National Defense Promotion Foundation Delivers Medical Aid to Ukrainian Children

The Estonian National Defense Promotion Foundation has delivered a significant contribution to the Kryvyi Rih rehabilitation and palliative care center in Ukraine, aiming to improve the well-being and modern treatment of children under difficult conditions.

The aid delivery, worth nearly 100,000 euros, included an X-ray machine, two ultrasound devices, and an electroencephalograph. These donations will enable the center to better diagnose internal injuries and provide a range of treatments, including speech therapy and fracture care.

Mait Palts, the head of the Estonian National Defense Promotion Foundation, expressed his gratitude to all donors, stating that every contribution is invaluable and brings hope and creates real change. He also noted that the delivery's special target group is children, who are the most vulnerable in war and often need more help than others.

This was the 24th aid shipment to Ukraine organized by the Estonian National Defense Promotion Foundation. The shipment was supported by Estonian plywood manufacturer Kohila Vineer, medical supplies company Ortolink Invest, and the Dnipro Chamber of Commerce.

As of Tuesday, a total of 6,233,797.15 euros has been raised to support Ukraine through the campaign. The foundation aims to procure and deliver aid from Estonia, in cooperation with Estonian businesses or as in-kind donations from companies and organizations.

Palts mentioned that preparations are already underway for the next aid package to frontline units of the National Guard. Discussions during the visit covered the regional situation, humanitarian aid efforts, and opportunities for Estonian businesses in the area.

While information about the broader aid situation for Ukraine, particularly medical aid, is widely available, specific details about the Estonian National Defense Promotion Foundation's medical equipment donations are not readily found in the search results. Further research or direct inquiries would be necessary to obtain this information.

However, it is clear that the foundation's efforts are making a significant difference in the lives of Ukrainian children in need. The foundation's continued aid deliveries to Ukraine are possible due to the ongoing support of the Estonian people and businesses.
