Miss Cosmo India 2025 Unveils First 'Smile Wall' in Delhi for World Smile Day
Miss Cosmo India 2025, Vipra Mehta, has inaugurated the first Smile Wall in India at Sant Parmanand Hospital in Delhi. This initiative is part of Smile Train India's celebration of World Smile Day® on October 3, 2025. The wall, a symbol of hope and positivity, aims to raise awareness about cleft conditions and the work of Smile Train.
Every three minutes, a baby is born with a cleft, a condition that can cause difficulties with eating, speaking, hearing, and breathing. Smile Walls, spaces where people can post messages or drawings reflecting what makes them smile, are transforming blank walls into vibrant displays of positivity. Smile Train India, in collaboration with partner hospitals, schools, and corporate partners, is launching these walls nationwide.
Mamta Carroll, Smile Train's Senior Vice President and Regional Director for Asia, expressed excitement about bringing Smile Walls to India during World Smile Day. Individuals and organizations can start their own Smile Walls at various locations to join the movement. More information is available at https://www.smiletrain.org/wsd.
Vipra Mehta, who will represent India at the Miss Cosmo pageant in December 2025, inaugurated the first Smile Wall in India. Smile Train India encourages communities to visit these walls at partner hospitals and share what makes them smile, symbolizing a healthier, brighter future for children with clefts.
