Road Resurfacing Works on Friemersheimer Street in Duisburg-Rumeln-Kaldenhausen to Begin
Starting on Monday, September 22, road construction works for the resurfacing of Friemersheimer Straße in Duisburg-Rumeln-Kaldenhausen will commence. The project, conducted by Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg, will involve the initial work of leveling the road, followed by the asphalt laying works, which are expected to take two days.
The construction works will take place between the junction of Düsseldorfer Street/Friemersheimer Street and the turning area near Dreven Street. During this phase, Friemersheimer Street will be completely closed, except for emergency vehicles. However, residents of Im Kückespesch, Bachstraße, and Drevenstraße streets will still be able to access their properties, as these are cul-de-sacs accessible only via Friemersheimer Street.
The company has coordinated with residents to ensure minimal disruption, and the asphalt laying works have been coordinated with residents as well. Pedestrians and cyclists can still pass through the construction area during the roadworks.
During the asphalt laying works, only emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through the construction area. Residents will always be able to access their properties during the leveling phase.
The initial work of leveling the road has been completed, and the asphalt laying works are yet to begin. The road construction works are expected to be completed by the end of October.
No additional information was provided about the specific coordination efforts with residents during the leveling phase, or about the duration of the leveling phase beyond it being completed prior to the asphalt laying works.
