Ingredients

  • 3 cups mashed turnips

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet, add onion; cook until soft but not brown.
  2. Add the cooked onion to the mashed turnip and beat in eggs and milk until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  4. Turn the mixture into a greased 1 qt. casserole dish.
  5. Mix bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
