"Reiner Calmund declares he sacrificed half of his life for his daughter"
In a surprising turn of events, Reiner Calmund, the former manager of Bayer Leverkusen and a renowned football expert, has made a full recovery after a hospital incident that occurred during the recording of an episode of popular German cooking show "Grill den Henssler".
Calmund, who hails from Saarlouis, was evaluating dishes on the show when he felt dizzy in December. He was immediately taken to a hospital in Cologne where a stent was inserted. However, the specific nature of the stent remains undisclosed.
Despite the unexpected incident, Calmund is now back on his feet and continues to lead an active life. His weight loss journey, inspired by his desire to spend more years with his 15-year-old adopted daughter, Nicha, is a testament to his resilience. Calmund, who once weighed over 180 kilograms, has managed to shed half of his weight, bringing his current weight down to 95 kilograms.
Calmund's adoption of Nicha, which took place in Thailand, has been a source of deep affection for him. During their first meeting, Nicha did not want to leave Calmund's wife Sylvia's side, while Calmund felt a strong bond with Nicha, as if she was saying, "What are you waiting for, get on with it!"
The bond between Calmund and Nicha is so strong that they even posed for a magazine photo shoot to accompany an interview. Unfortunately, Calmund's tenure as a juror on "Grill den Henssler" came to an end in March, following his departure from the show, which RTL announced with Calmund expressing his regret, saying, "That would have been fun!"
Despite his departure from the show, Calmund continues to be a regular face in the world of football, sharing his expertise and insights. His recovery and continued dedication to his family serve as an inspiration to many.
