Saudi Nuxera AI Secures $2.5M for Arabic-First Healthcare AI
Saudi health-tech startup Nuxera AI has secured $2.5 million in pre-seed investment from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health. The funding will support the company's mission to transform clinical workflows through AI tailored for Arabic-speaking healthcare providers.
Founded by Amin El Hemaily (CEO), Asad Khan (CTO), and Nada Hassan (CCO), Nuxera aims to fix Arabic healthcare with real AI. Their AI platform integrates into existing hospital systems, offering real-time clinical documentation and hospital-wide data analytics.
SERA, Nuxera's flagship product, captures doctor-patient conversations across 28 Arabic dialects and generates structured, coded notes, saving documentation time by over 70%. The 'Talk to Your Data' engine enables hospital leaders to ask questions in plain Arabic and receive instant, reliable answers to clinical, operational, and financial matters.
The investment from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health provides Nuxera with operational support, deep healthcare expertise, and a commitment to advancing innovation across the Kingdom. Joshua Ford, Managing Director of Redesign Health, praised Nuxera's founders for addressing a real healthcare challenge with Arabic-first AI. Amin El Hemaily, CEO and Co-founder of Nuxera AI, stated that the investment validates Saudi innovation and redefines the future of AI in healthcare.
The funds will be used to expand engineering and go-to-market teams in Saudi Arabia, support additional hospital deployments, and enhance AI models through clinical collaborations. Nuxera's innovative approach to AI in healthcare is set to make a significant impact on Arabic-speaking healthcare providers.
