In the quiet evening of June 24, 2022, a disturbing incident occurred on the canal path from Schlenzigstraße to Georg-Wilhelms-Straße in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. A 35-year-old woman was the victim of an assault, according to the Hamburg Police.
The ordeal began around 8:15 PM when the suspect approached and pursued the woman on the canal path. The suspect's actions escalated as he grabbed and dragged the victim into the bushes, where he attempted to perform sexual acts on her.
