Toxic substance leak in Halle results in three victims suffering injuries

Amidst a chaotic day in Halle, a significant emergency arose due to an ammonia leak from a research building. Special forces from the fire department were summoned, resulting in three injured individuals.
According to recent reports by Sachsen-Anhalt, one of the injured was rushed to the hospital, while the remaining two were treated onsite.

Initial reports indicated that the dangerous substance, liquid ammonia, had leaked from a 25-liter container within a closed room on the ground floor of the Nanotechnology building. The building was immediately evacuated, and the fire department was dispatched, along with special forces.
The affected room was promptly controlled, and the leaked liquid was absorbed and sealed. Fortunately, there was no risk to the neighboring population, as confirmed by responding forces. The exact reason behind the incident remained unclear at first.
