Unveiling Hazards Present in Wireless Devices
In the rapidly evolving world of technology, 5G wireless technology has been a topic of much discussion. One of the most vocal critics of 5G is former Microsoft Canada President, Frank Clegg.
Clegg, who serves on the Environmental Health Trust business advisory group and as the chief executive of Canadians for Safe Technology, has been warning for years about the potential dangers of 5G. He expresses concern about the implementation of this technology, stating that he is not aware of a single study that shows it is safe.
The primary concerns surrounding 5G revolve around potential health risks due to radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure. Some scientists caution about carcinogenic effects, neurological impacts, infertility, and biological disturbances caused by RF radiation. These concerns are based on the disruption of the blood-brain barrier, associations with cancers, and claims that 5G EMF can cause cellular-level disturbances by affecting voltage gated calcium channels in cells.
However, it's important to note that these concerns remain highly debated within the scientific community. Regulatory bodies and most mainstream scientific evaluations typically find that 5G technology, when operating within current safety limits, does not pose proven health risks.
Despite this, Clegg emphasizes the need for public awareness of these dangers and encourages individuals to take action to reduce their exposure. He believes that telecommunications companies have long been aware of the dangers of wireless technology and have hundreds of lobbyists working on their behalf to protect the industry.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which is in charge of protecting the public from exposure to dangerous technology, is composed of former telecommunications executives and engineers, creating a conflict of interest, and there are no doctors or scientists there. This raises questions about the impartiality of the FCC's safety guidelines, as they are more than 25 years old and have not been updated to account for recent technological advancements.
The telecommunications industry is largely self-policing, leading to a scenario similar to the Wild West. This lack of regulation has led to concerns, with more than 230 researchers and scientists from dozens of countries sending a formal letter to the UN and the World Health Organization outlining their reservations about the rollout of 5G wireless technology.
Hundreds of studies have linked wireless technologies to a slew of problems, including diabetes, infertility, headaches, insomnia, heart arrythmias and palpitations, fatigue, autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, mood swings, depression, and anxiety. As more and more people acquire devices equipped with wireless technology for various purposes, the potential health implications become increasingly significant.
In light of these concerns, it is crucial for continued research and caution to be exercised. The situation regarding wireless technology could escalate in the coming years, and it is essential for individuals to stay informed and take steps to protect their health.
