What You'll Need:
- 3/4 cup strong French roast coffee grounds (such as Café Du Monde, Café'de Paris, or Trung Nguyen)
- 2 cups water
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream (optional, for a creamier pop)
- Freezer pop molds
- Wooden sticks (if your molds don't come with secure ones)
Directions:
- Brew the coffee using the water. Aim for about 1 1/2 cups of brewed coffee.
- Mix the brewed coffee with the sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. If desired, whisk in the heavy cream for a creamier pop.
- Cover the mixture and chill it in the fridge until it's nice and cold, approximately 2 hours.
- Whisk the mixture again and pour it into the freezer pop molds. Freeze until solid, which should take at least 6 hours.
If your molds don't have sticks, insert wooden ones about 1 1/2 hours into the freezing time.
That's it! Enjoy your iced Vietnamese coffee kick, minus the hassle of drinking it hot.
