Nine-year-old kid from Araguari, the town in the Triângulo Mineiro region, took a tragic turn when he got smacked by a car on Belchior de Godoi Avenue, as the sun started to set on Monday (16th June).

The Military Fire Department of Minas Gerais (CBMMG) responded to the scene like a flash. Upon arrival, they discovered the poor kid lying on the ground, unconscious and not breathing – struggling in cardiac arrest.

The firefighters and emergency medical personnel from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) sprang into action, giving the boy CPR like his life depended on it. Their quick thinking and determination paid off, as they managed to revive him on the spot. The brave kid got whisked away to the UPA in Araguari, showing signs of life.

However, the kid remains in a critical condition post-accident, having sustained severe injuries with fractures being a strong possibility. The CBMMG did not offer any updates on his current health status by the time this report was filed.
